Baker Standards Agreement

This agreement applies to all bakers on KEYK — Independent Bakers and Verified Bakers alike. By signing, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to everything here.

You are joining a community built on trust, quality, and genuine care.

Food Handler's Certificate is required at all times. No valid certificate means no active listings — no exceptions, ever.

Kitchen photos and a 30–60 second walkthrough video must be submitted at registration. KEYK reviews these for food safety.

All portfolio photos must be your own real work. No stock images, no borrowed photos, no AI-generated images.

Every order on KEYK is automatically covered by a legally binding Digital Contract, escrow payment protection, and your full dispute rights. The moment a transaction moves outside KEYK — all that protection disappears.

All payments must be processed through the KEYK secure gateway. This applies to deposits, balance, tips, and extras — for new and returning customers alike.

Your Platform and Security Fee is 10% of the base order price only. This covers your Digital Contract, escrow, dispute resolution, and your placement on KEYK. We take nothing from your tips or RUSH surcharge — those are 100% yours.

Bakers who stay within the Circle of Trust receive priority search placement and higher visibility.

Respond to customers within 24 hours. For RUSH orders, 15 minutes to accept or decline.

Submit three mandatory progress photos for every custom order: prep at 36h before delivery, progress at 24h, and finished cake at 2h before dispatch. Customer approval is required before dispatch. No exceptions.

Only list what you can genuinely make. Dietary tags (Halal, Vegan, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free) must be completely accurate.

Maintain a healthy Heart Rate (positive ratings ÷ completed orders). Sustained low performance triggers review.

Be honest about availability. Block dates when unavailable. Cancelling accepted orders without cause impacts your standing.

Treat every customer, fellow baker, and KEYK staff with respect — inside the app and in all public spaces including social media.

Healthy competition is welcome — deliberate sabotage is not. No harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.

If you have a concern with KEYK, message our support team directly. We listen, we respond, we act.

Your recipes are encrypted and private. KEYK staff have zero access. Never used for AI training.

Your earnings are protected by escrow. Auto-release within 2 hours if no dispute. Payout 24–72 hours after delivery confirmation.

Your RUSH surcharge and tips are 100% yours. Platform and Security Fee of 10% applies only to base order price.

Awards are never tied to registration status. A Independent Baker can win KEYK recognition.

Cancel your subscription anytime — no penalty. All your data and history stays with you.

Every order generates a Digital Contract binding under RA 8792 of the Philippines.

KEYK is the platform intermediary, not the seller. Your Food Handler's Certificate and any business permits remain your responsibility.

Public misconduct — including cyberlibel — may result in legal action under RA 10175 independently of platform sanctions.

KEYK may update these standards with 14 days notice. Disputes settled under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
